IPT Group hosts the ninth annual Women in IP Law CLE luncheon
On September 22, the Intellectual Property and Technology group hosted the ninth annual Women in IP Law CLE Luncheon at the Four Seasons Silicon Valley. The 150 attendees, 70% of whom were in-house counsel and many of whom are leading IP counsel for some of the Bay Area’s largest technology companies, enjoyed a networking opportunity along with a panel discussion about cutting-edge IPT. This year’s topics were “Keeping Ahead of Privacy Issues” and “Navigating the Changing World of Patent Litigation.” The discussion covered subjects such as identifying important privacy and data issues, patent filing trends and changes impacting global patent litigation.
Licia Vaughn (San Diego) led the program. This year’s speakers included The Honorable Marilyn L. Huff (United States District Court Judge for the Southern District of California), Karen McGee (Chief Privacy Officer, LifeLock Inc.), Patricia Wyrod (General Counsel, IPSY.com), Claudia Frost (Houston), Jennifer Kashatus (Washington, DC) and Robynne Sanders (Melbourne)
